Light Sensitive

Light Sensitive is a dance performance created with Anastasia Korabov-Botalla.

Anastasia is a young artist, choreographer and dancer. She studied at the Pôle Supérieur de Danse of Cannes, and was in work-study programm at Grand Avignon Ballet.

For this performance, we wanted to build an unknown environment, that Anastasia could discover and tame. We directly thought of a luminous world, composed of three zones. The idea was to let the dancer have control over the content and the duration of the performance. Through her movements within these zones, Anastasia thus ordered changes in the sound and visual creations in real time. Moreover, she alone decided the temporality of the performance, taking the time to evolve and tame the luminous environment.
